In Memory

Anthony Crossley
11th August 1969 to 31st October 2000

Anthony died suddenly in the night on the 31st October 2000, he was only 31 years old and had been married for only 31 days to Josie. He suffered nocturnal Epilepsy which was never considered serious as he managed to carry on a normal life working as an alarm engineer for a security firm.

In the past he swam, played football, golf, and was a good dingy sailor at Pennine sailing Club, he also enjoyed mountain biking, but his latest passion was cricket. He played for Old Halesowen cricket team in Birmingham.

He was born at home in Sheffield, and it was a special day, a lovely early sunny morning in mid-summer. He was a beautiful baby, a very lively toddler and a scruffy mischievous lad who grew into a fine young man.

He found Josie only 15 months ago, and it was meant to be as they were both besotted with each other. They married on the 30th of September 2000. It was a lovely wedding and they were so very happy, and we were so glad they had found each other.

We are all devastated to lose Anthony, and our lives will never be the same again. We love him so very much, and miss him terribly.
He will be in our hearts forever.

Since Anthony died we have found out that his wife Josie is expecting their much wanted baby next July, so we will have part of him always.

Rest well in your field of dreams.
Mom, Dad, Ian and Jill, and your devoted wife Josie
